Dave Cavey called the HZBA Social and Networking meeting to order on July 8, 2004 at 12:04 pm.

Officer Reports:

1. President - Welcomed everyone to the meeting and thanked everyone for making the June Networking meeting a great event.
2. Secretary - meeting minutes are provided via e-mail.
3. Treasurer - Balance ending May 31, 2004 = $10,262.61 and balance ending June 30, 2004 = $10,250.18.

Old Business:

1. Mini Golf - This event is planned for Friday, July 23, 2004 at Hereford Golf Center on York Road. Beginning at 5:30 pm and ending at 8:30 pm. Tickets are $5 per person. Refreshments will be available. Hole sponsors are needed. The cost is $25 per hole. For more information contact Glenn at glenn@foodbyfire.com. Mary Pitt motioned that the proceeds from this event be donated to the Food Bank. Paulette made a second to the motion.
2. Budget - no report

Committee Reports

1. Directory - The final is at the printer as we speak. 23,000 to be printed. Could be a $150 under run or a $200 over run depending on the weight of the paper. Decided that 18,000 should be printed on light weight paper, 5,000 should be printed on green card stock. Still no date as to when these will be distributed as an insert to the North County News.
2. Membership - No report.
3. Web Master - No report. Dave will contact Glenn to see of Glenn needs assistance with the website.
4. Welcome Book - Al Copp reported that about 100 books have been distributed and that they are ready for a second printing. No date has been set for the second printing . Contact Al at acopp@msn.com if you need additional information or would like to change you ad.
5. Fall Fest - Mary discussed the signs, the HZBA area, and eating area. Mary will provide Dave with an estimate for expenses for Fall Fest. In her last meeting with HVFC, there is no decision about making the Fall Fest a two day event. As far as the ad for the HZBA that will appear as an insert in the North County News in September, everyone decided that a circus theme is not the way to go. Let's just use a fall theme (leaves, pumpkins, corn, etc.). Currently this inset has grown to 16 pages.
