Officer Reports:


Old Business/New Business:
  1. Paul Cummins said that Hereford Methodist Church will be expanding and getting an up lift.
  2. Glenn would like feedback on the parade and how to make it even more of a success. Dave said he felt the parade was split with half the people at the parade and the other half at the festival.
  3. Miniature golf went really well and was very hot! Some folks came later in the day to play, so we may wish to consider extending the time or a later start time.
  4. Al was very disappointed in the response for the Snyder/Anderson function and the mini-golf outing in terms of sponsors. He suggested that at the beginning of the year we pass out a listing of all areas in which members may wish to donate/sponsor (with explanation of event) allowing members to better budget their contribution dollars.
  5. Traffic light Paul Cummings said it's in design and things are moving along fine
  6. Dave Cavey has a snowball stand at 310 Mount Carmel Road through September, so stop by.

Committee Reports:
  1. Community Affairs: Dave is working on getting a political speaker for August.
  2. Directory: Directory is finalized and ready to be mailed. Kathy Wheatley e-mailed her indecia to Diane Fowler as well to the Minuteman Press.
  3. Fall Fest: Diane Fowler, Al Copp, Paulett Campanell and Kathy Wheatley will help Mary Pitt to get the fall fest together and any one else who would like to help. Laura Gaffney will help with the kids games.
  4. Hospitality: Invoices for June social $322.68 (below budget) has been received
  5. Membership: No report
  6. Web Master: Website is up10%, with approximately 44 hits a day. Glenn would like to start the classified ad section.
  7. Raffle Baskets: John would like help with the baskets
  8. Marketing, Communications, Publicity: Patti finalized the ad in the North County News. Ad will be on the back page insert, she sent a list of members as of the end of June, any new members she will try and get them included.

Guest Speaker
Jennifer Bernhard from Genessee Valley
This 300 acre non-profit working farm, located in Parkton off Rayville Road, is a kids day camp doing all kinds of teambuilding and other fun things! They also work with the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. At any one time they have approximately 100 kids ages 7-17. Overnight trips are also taken!

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 12:55 pm.
